Be sure you are not using skin care products that contain toxic chemical ingredients which can absorb directly into your blood stream. Toxic petrochemicals such as Sodium Laural Sulphate, Phthalates and Parabens may be linked to serious health problems such as cancer, birth defects or hormone disruptions.

Check your labels. The "Dirty Dozen" list of the most dangerous skin care ingredients to avoid when selecting skin care and all personal care products.

Visit the Environmental Working Groups Cosmetic Database at: http://www.cosmeticsdatabase.com to look up the products that you are currently using.
