Toxic petrochemicals such as Sodium Laural Sulphate, Phthalates and Parabens may be linked to serious health problems such as cancer, birth defects or hormone disruptions.


Check your labels. The "Dirty Dozen" list of the most dangerous skin care ingredients to avoid when selecting skin care and all personal care products.

Deceiving ingredients

That's a great article. Unfortunately, there are many online skin care retailers that do not list all the ingredients, so when you're shopping online, there is really no way to know what the actual ingredients are. Everyone claims to be "natural" and they just emphasize their fascinating active ingredients and say nothing about the rest.

Shop for skin care lines that have a detailed list of ingredients for each of their products.
