Mint Facial Cleanser
Minty Fresh Face
Wash
Drake
shares his natural skin care recipe for a minty fresh facial cleanser
that provides a wonderfully aromatic face wash straight from the garden.
As
anyone who has ever grown mint, it can literally take over a garden if
you aren't careful. Drake puts his excess mint to good use in
this natural skin care recipe.
Thank
you for sharing Drake!
Drake enjoys collecting fresh mint to
make his special exfoliating minty fresh facial wash recipe.
Mint has significant rejuvenating properties.
It is a great addition to many natural anti-aging skin care
recipes.
Mint
also makes any natural skin care recipe smell absolutely divine so
don't hesitate to throw in a few fresh, finely chopped leaves.
You can even add mint to a bowl of hot water to give yourself
a
facial steam and aroma therapy treatment all at the same time!

Minty Fresh Face Wash ~
- Finely chop 1/3 cup fresh mint leaves
(or use a mini-food processor)
- Stir in 1 tablespoon kosher or sea salt (The
salt crystals are larger than regular table salt which provides for
better exfoliating action)
- Mix in 1 tablespoon commercial soy-based facial
cleanser
- Apply to facial skin in a circular motion then
rinse well with warm water
Drake
admits that he cheats just a little bit when making his
mint cleanser by adding a store bought face wash product but
he
likes the foaming action that it gives the recipe.
Drake further explains that he prefers to use a
super rich soy based facial cleanser such as an Aveeno product which is
reasonably priced and readily available.
