Make Your Own Essential Oil Face Cream

After I had my last baby, I noticed that I had several, oh do I dare say it, age spots on my face due to the 'mask of pregnancy.'

So, I went to work right away researching what I could do to get rid of them.

I studied several methods in health and wellness and tried a few different natural remedies, but I hit gold when I started learning about essential oils.

Now, all essential oils are not created equal.

You must make sure the oils you are purchasing are 100% Theraputic Grade. This means that they are pure essential oils and not some cheap garbage. (You can usually tell because pure oils are usually much more expensive than the cheap stuff you can get at the health store).

Anyway, my mom attended an essential oils class and told me about a wonderful mixture that gets rid of age spots!!!

Here it is:

Get a small container and put a dallop of your favorite face lotion or cream in it. I typically buy a good cream at the health store that has no parabens or propelyne glycol in it -- the less chemicals, the better.

Next, you just add 3-4 drops of these two oils:

Frankensense
Lavender

These two oils are excellent for skin. Mix them in with your face cream and just apply a small amount each night after washing.

Now, I have tried this and can attest to the success. My age spots began to disappear, and now are almost completely gone. This has been over a period of about 2 months.

Not bad!

I would suggest researching essential oils because there are so many beneficial remedies!
